David Calloway

Lecturer

David Calloway joined the T2SC Team as a presenter in our Recruiting Education Program in 2012. For the 14 years prior to that time, Coach Calloway led the Monmouth University Division I Basketball program. His successes include three Northeast Conference championships, two regular season Northeast Conference Championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances, amply demonstrating his skill in management, recruitment, leadership, team building, and talent development. During Dave's tenure at Monmouth, he had a 100% graduation rate for all student athletes upon eligibility to participate and had three years where the team average GPA was above 3.0. His team won the Monmouth University Athletic Department Community Service Award in 2007 and he was the first coach from the NEC to win a NCAA Tournament game. As a member of Turn 2 Consulting, Dave will work with sports coaches, administrators, athletes and parents. Mr. Calloway's personal experience moving from athlete to assistant coach to head coach also gives him personal insights into the challenges many parents face as they search for the best college experience for their child. Having been involved in the college athletics scene for 24 years, Dave understands the difficulties in the entire college selection process. "The cost of college education is on everyone's mind and I believe T2SC can help people through that very difficult process of choosing a college or university," says Calloway. The college selection and recruiting process has changed in the last twenty years. Most parents are trying to fit their child's biography into the school of their dreams, which sometimes is unrealistic. "I believe you match the college to the student-athlete's interests, needs and abilities, greatly minimizing the need to transfer which cost time, money & eligibility."
